At The Villages, there is no added fee for offshore fishing. The guides can take you outside the reef for tuna, wahoo, barracuda, milkfish, and an occasional sailfish.

Fishing Equipment:  The Lodge does not provide fishing equipment. For our Hosted Trips, Fishing with Larry supplies conventional rods and reels for bluewater trolling for tuna and wahoo. (You will need to bring your own lures.) Our confirmation packet includes a complete list of what to bring.

Boats:  The Villages uses 35-foot outrigger boats with Yamaha 60-HP four-stroke outboards. (Fishing lodges on the island commonly use these Polynesian-style outrigger boats.)

Guides:  At The Villages, each angler has their own guide. The Villages is the only lodge on the Island that offers this for no extra charge. The fishing guides are local Islanders who speak English.
